CarlowMusic.com is at present a free information service provided by us kind folk at KilkennyMusic.com. Over the past two years we’ve grown and developed KilkennyMusic.com from a small website to an active music community that splits its time between the online world (packed with blogs, our podcast series, music chat, band profiles, free music downloads) and the offline world (weekend gigs, tri-weekly acoustic sessions, music promotion, band advice, press coverage and loads more besides).
We feel it is time to bring it to Carlow.
In 2005 while developing KilkennyMusic.com we put the initial plans in place for CarlowMusic.com and though the site at present isn’t as active as the main hub in Kilkenny, we feel that CarlowMusic.com will offer bands in Carlow the perfect opportunity to network into Kilkenny, giving you a chance to share in the KilkennyMusic.com audience (on the verge of hitting the 1 million visitor mark since 2005) and get your music known outside of Carlow.
But, we’ve also bagged ourselves a few treats. We’ll be hooking Kilkenny and Carlow bands up together, sending groups and running gigs in both directions. If you want to get involved then get in touch - we’re doing exactly as we do in Kilkenny - we’ll take your profiles, take your music, take your band news and get it out there to the people who want to discover you!
